GTA VI: The Album — 34 Original Tracks, Six Out Now
Published 2026-09-22
Rockstar announced Grand Theft Auto VI: The Album on its Newswire — a full studio album of 34 original tracks made in partnership with Atlantic Records, releasing November 19, 2026, alongside the game (official).
What’s confirmed
- 34 original songs created for the game, “inspired by the atmosphere of Vice City and the state of Leonida” (official — Rockstar Newswire)
- Six tracks are streaming now on the album’s Spotify listing (official)
- Announced artists so far include Travis Scott, Future, Morgan Wallen, Keith Richards, Rauw Alejandro, and Yung Lean, with more to be revealed (official)
- Physical editions: vinyl and CD, including limited variants (a liquid-filled vinyl among them) sold through Rockstar’s album site (official)
The joke writes itself
The album comes on vinyl and CD. The game — whose physical edition is a code-in-a-box — does not. GTA 6’s only disc is the soundtrack.
What it means
Two reads worth having:
- The date is safe. Labels don’t schedule star-studded album launches for dates that might move. Add this to the pile of reconfirmations.
- This is on top of the licensed radio, not instead of it. GTA games ship with hundreds of licensed tracks across stations; an original-music album is an addition in the RDR2-soundtrack tradition, at Vice City scale. Our soundtrack page tracks every confirmed song — 20 licensed tracks identified from official material so far, plus the album’s 34.
