Taiwan: pre-orders blocked pending rating review
GTA 6 cannot currently be pre-ordered in Taiwan. The game does not appear as purchasable on the Taiwanese PlayStation Store, and Taiwan is listed among excluded regions in PlayStation's official GTA 6 pre-order FAQ. official
The reason is a pending rating review — GTA 6 has not yet completed local age-rating classification for the Taiwanese market, and the listing cannot go live until it does. reported Taiwan appears alongside Bahrain, China, Kuwait, Lebanon, Oman, Qatar, and Russia on lists of regions with pre-order restrictions, but Taiwan's block is tied to classification, not a content ban — expect the listing to appear once the rating is issued.

Physical vs digital
The list price is the same for physical and digital copies of the same edition. official Two differences worth knowing:

Why prices differ by region
Rockstar sets regional prices per storefront rather than converting the US price at market exchange rates. Japan (¥9,800 ≈ $66) and India (₹5,999 ≈ $72) land below the US price; Australia (A$129.95 ≈ $84) lands above, consistent with how AAA games are usually priced in those markets. Pre-orders are open now for the November 19, 2026 launch on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S — there is no PC version at launch and no early access for any edition.
