Named places in official material
Two kinds of entries below: places Rockstar has named in text (site descriptions, character profiles) official, and places named on-screen — signage, liveries, and storefronts that frame-hunters have pulled from official footage reported. Real-world inspirations are community readings of official material, not Rockstar statements.

How places get "named" before launch
Rockstar has published exactly one tier of location info in text: the six region pages and the character profiles that happen to name businesses and neighborhoods. Everything else on this list was read off the screen — a police door decal, a storefront sign, a postcard caption in official material. That's why the labels matter: official means Rockstar wrote the name down; reported means the community read it out of an official frame, which is reliable for the name but occasionally fuzzy on spelling and placement.
What about full neighborhood maps?
Community mapping projects have stitched official footage into remarkably detailed Leonida maps with dozens more place names. We don't reprint them here because they blend official-frame analysis with leak-derived data, and this database is official-material-only. The ones above all trace to a Rockstar-published source.
The bigger picture
Every place in this table lives inside one of Leonida's six official regions — see the GTA 6 map page for how they fit together, and the gangs & factions page for who controls what. When Rockstar names the next neighborhood, it gets a row here the same day.
